What's Japan to you?

Japan is the country that has always fascinated me the most since I was little, both with its old and new culture. From the traditional clothing and architecture to the pop culture and technological development. Also, to me, Japanese is one of the most beautiful languages in the world.

Nice to meet you! My name is Irina (a.k.a. The Irstress). Second year Set Design Student and a dedicated horse rider with a passion for stage arts. Currently 20, I've been cosplaying for about 6 years now and my passion for cosplay hasn't stopped growing ever since I first stepped on stage. I view cosplay not only as a hobby, but as a quite intricate form of art - the art of transfering a character from the page or screen to real life, flesh and blood. The only thing I love more than a well-crafted costume, is an interesting stage performance.

Self Introduction

I am Alexandar, known as Zin in Bulgaria. I always wanted to be a anime/cartoon villian and cosplay was my way to become a badass, even for a day! I am a film student and love all type of media and visual arts, and cannot wait to explore all of that in Japan, this summer !
