Meiji-period buildings, including those of the highest artistic and historic value, are now available for cosplay photo shooting!

Believe or not, Meiji-mura is dotted with buildings that appeared in anime as it is.

Be it the anime pilgrimage, or just taking a memorial photo, you can spend the day as you wish.

A Cross between Japanese and Foreign in Meiji Period

　

For those who take it for granted that Meiji-Mura represents Japan in its traditional style, you will be astounded when you visit the Meiji-Mura.

Dotted with plenty of westernized Japanese building, Meiji-Mura is the living evidence of the East-West cultural exchange conducted during the Meiji Period.

　
You will alway find a perfectly suitable photo spot for your costume, be it the one of a Japanese style, western style, SF, fantasy, or that of a Gakuen character.

Ticket/Dressing Room information

No extra fee will be taken for participating in Meiji-Mura Cosplay.

Participants can enter the venue with a Meiji-Mura entrance/admission ticket.

There are free dressing rooms in the Meiji-Mura.

(The opening hours and venue of the dressing rooms will be updated soon.)

Entrance/Admission Fee: 1,700 yen for adult

You can purchase an entrance ticket from a convenience store in advance.

However, you might need to notice that:

※ There is an expiration date on the ticket

※ You can not re-enter the Meiji-Mura for free, so don't forget to bring everything with you once you leave the venue.
