Favorite Manga and Japanese Animation
Magi the labyrinth of magic got a special place in my heart! I really like the characters and the storyline in the series <3 One piece always got a special place in my heart <3 my first cosplays was also from one piece! ( chopper ) Tiger and bunny also got a special place in my heart <3 ( I have a big heart xD ) I’m also so happy that we will bring cosplays from this series to Japan ! :D and of course pokemon! I really can’t wait to visit the pokemon center! <3
What's Japan to you?
Since I was little I have always been interested in different cultures and that made me want to learn alot about them. I am happy and honored to be able to visit japan this summer. I love anime and manga, my room is full with figures and manga's, and I find it really awesome how you can find so many different stories and genre's.
How many costumes do you have?
I don't have an exact number but I think roughly around 20 but with many more to come. This is a list that I hope will never end.
Self Introduction
Hello everyone. My name is Mineke and my cosplay alias is Yaraiya. Im 22years old but will be 23 during WCS in the summer. I love to watch anime, read manga and game. I studied Art restoration and I hope someday I will be able to do that as a living and be a well known artist (a girl can dream). I also love playing board games with friends and spend my days crafting. I love meeting new people so I can't wait to meet everyone in japan next summer.

Favorite Manga and Japanese Animation
I love Kuragahime ! Its my all time favorite, mainly cause I can relate to the head character in so many ways !( I got him planned to wear in japan... So excited !). Next to it I am a hardcore Inu-yasha fan and Lover of all Nintendo things. Also got a thing for historical Manga's. D-gray man, Kuroshitsuji are amazing. Last I'd like to call out to Puella Magica Madoka, since I love the artstyle and way of animation to it <3
What's Japan to you?
I've always had the dream to visit Japan. I am a big lover of anime and manga, ever since I watched Cardcaptor sakura back when i was 8, It started to grow on me. I liked the culture, the food, the fasion and most important the music ! Now a days I love to wear J-Fashion (Kodona lolita, Shironuri, Decora etc.) and I got tons of CD's from Japanese Singers (Kyary Pamyu Pamyu <3<3!)
How many costumes do you have?
Around the 15/16 I think. Its a never ending growth of costumes <3

Ohayo ! I am the gentle giant from the west (I am 2.15 Meters tall x.x ), all the way from the Nederlands. I am 23 years old and love making cosplays ! Going to japan has always been a dream of mine and I cannot believe that after all my dreaming it's Finally going to happen. I hope I will not bump my head to much in Japan, but I am sure I will not mind it one bit <3. perpare for some crazy outfits from team Nederlands !!!! We be sure to bring our A-game.
