Japan means a dream destination for me because of the culture, the gastronomy and, above all, the pop culture including cosplay. To me, Japan means a place where I could live my passion like never before while visiting a whole new different country.
I have around 25 costumes
My name is Felicia, I'm also know as Darkarnival Butler. I'm cosplayer from Quebec City, in Canada. I've been cosplaying since 2011, after some friends of mine suggested me to try it out. I always enjoyed to make and get into costumes, but before cosplay I could only do it for Halloween. I was planning my Halloween costumes more than a year in advance so when I discovered cosplay it became a real passion for me. I've attended many conventions and I've also competed into many costume competitions in Canada and in United-States since 2012.
I mainly cosplay characters that I love, no matter what they look like, but I also enjoy cosplaying characters with costume designs that I'm attracted by. I love cosplay because it's like a childhood dream come true, the dream to become the ficitonal characters I love and to have fun wearing some amazing costumes. I also love it cause it allows me to be creative making some trickier projects everytime, and to challenge myself each time.
I entered the World Cosplay Summit mainly for the big experience of a lifetime, for the challenge and for the opportunity to meet other passionate cosplayers from all around the world.

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood
This is the country of dreams: so good creativity, so good food, so nice people...
I wanted to see how it is there since so many years.
I have 12 costumes that fit me, but I also made several for friends...
I am is a very playful and optimistic cosplayer and always full of joy. For the moment, I am most known for my Diva costume from the 5th Element movie and also for my Legend of Zelda cosplays. I started cosplaying in 2009 and reached the Master level in 2015 at Ottawa Comiccon. I also am a nature lover. I usualy stay away from big city except for convention... and after I come back, I always plan to go hide in my favorite wood to take deep breathe. Hunting and fishing, with cosplay of course, are my favorite hobbies and I am able to mix those very easly: cleaning a fish head to make a cool part of costume, keeping the deer skin to make leather from it for futur costume, etc.
