What's Japan to you?
Japan represents a country of rich culture and history. It's uniqueness sets itself different from the rest of the asian countries and world. It is the originator of Japanese anime and manga which has brought forth so much to our lives.

Hi, this is Zephyus from Singapore. You can call me Zeph for short. I am a big manga/anime fan and naturally, cosplay has become my hobby too. It has since then been a part of my life and where i get to know so many like minded friends not just in singapore but all over the world. I love to travel to meet more people and understand the different cosplay culture around the world.

Japan is a place of beauty. The politeness of the people is what I'm impressed and the dedication they have put in their work. One example was this 7 minutes Shinkensen Cleaning Crew which I saw on youtube. Even though it is a cleaning job, they work with pride and earnest.

Hi everyone, this is Maria from Singapore. It is an honour to be able to represent Singapore to join in this year's World Cosplay Summit. Cosplay has been part of my life as I get lots of satisfication from this hobby. It allows me to express myself on stage and look different whenever I cosplay a different character. I like seeing the response from friends where some of them cannot even recognise me at cosplay event.
Besides cosplaying, I also like to sing, dance and watch movie during my free time. Lastly, thanks for having me here and hope to have lots of fun with everyone
