My favourite manga is Eyeshield 21 and my favourite anime is Gintama.

What's Japan to you?

I love the juxtaposition of new and old. The way history threads through the way people live in the modern world. There's nowhere else like Japan that mixes culture and technology, it's a unique lifestyle that I'm very excited to be a part of!

How many costumes do you have?

I've made around 70 costumes to date!

I'm a university graduate from the very north of England who enjoys eSports, comic books and cosplay! I love samurai history a lot, especially the Bakumatsu and Sengoku periods. I also enjoy karaoke and teppankyaki~

Somewhere I have always wished to visit! Japanese animation and illustration has been a key source of inspiration throughout my life so I'm very lucky to be able to finally experience the beautiful culture of Japan first hand, while participating alongside so many like-minded people from all over the world.

Hi! I'm Emi, I'm an avid photographer and have recently graduated with my illustration degree. I love playing games, travelling, reading and making costumes. My favourite part of cosplay is being able to photoshoot in various locations and recreating parts of the stories from my favourite series!
