Self Introduction

I am Kanako, cosplayer from Hong Kong. I have known WCS for a long time. As I recognized that representatives from different countries could gather in Nagoya for this cosplay extravaganza once a year, I really wanted to join and be one of them too. This year, my dream finally comes true. I never thought that I could join the WCS as the HK representative! When we were preparing for the C3HK2014 Cosplay Contest, in order to have a perfect performance on the stage, my partner and I lived together for a month to practice and to make our own costumes. We just wanted to ensure that we could do our utmost for the contest. After all this effort we made, we finally won and became the champion of the C3HK2014 Cosplay Contest. This is the first time that HK join WCS as one of the participating regions. We are honored to be the representatives and will try our best to perform an entertaining show for everyone who loves cosplay. Thank you.

Self Introduction

My name is Risa, cosplayer from Hong Kong. I loved to read comics and watch animation in my childhood. When studied in primary school, I became more and more obsessed with Japanese manga and anime. Till now, it is still one of my hobbies. I always dream to perform in the characters of the animations I like. That is why I want to take part in cosplay events. Cosplay contest is very challenging to me because every single detail requires accuracy and has to do it precisely. We have to do the preparation and practice in the perspective of the character. It is a process of testing to steel ourselves. It took us more than three months to prepare for the C3HK2014 Cosplay Contest. It is quite a hard time for us as we could only spend a couple of hour everyday to do the rehearsals and making costumes after we off duty. Luckily, we won finally and could join WCS as the representatives of Hong Kong. I wish we could meet more cosplay lovers in the Nagoya trip and, the last but not least, we could have improvements and became more proficient in cosplay after WCS.
