My favourite Ainme and Manga is Cardcaptor Sakura. I am also a big fan of Sailor Moon and Akatsuki No Yona. I love reading and watching many different titles to discover new shows to love!
To me Japan is a country with a rich cultural history. The detail and designs in old architecture and textiles is simply amazing. I enjoy a lot of media that Japan produces including anime, manga, video games, J-drama, music and more.

Hello, my name is Merino and I am a cosplayer from Toronto, Canada. I have been cosplaying since 2005 but I’ve always loved to dress up in costumes since I was a little girl. I love entering masquerades and meeting people who travel from all over to compete, some of my best convention memories are from the green room. I have been lucky enough to travel to conventions in both the USA and Canada.
I am very excited to participate in the World Cosplay Summit 2017! I am looking forward to meeting so many talented people and be able to share my knowledge and gain theirs. I am also hoping to find a lot of cute sheep.
My favourite anime is Code Geass, I'm not sure if I have a favourite manga, but I really enjoy psychological thrillers.

My name is Icarus, I have been cosplaying since 2003. I am a master level cosplayer and a bit of a perfectionist. I enjoy the challenge of cosplay, figuring out all the details and how to make things work. I really like building props and doing fine detail work. I have become quite proficient at costume problem solving and will be the first to jump in and help out wherever I can. I am excited for WCS 2017, and hope to meet new people and learn new things.
