Without my hobby I think I never had noticed Japan this much. It started with questions like: “Where are these series from?”, “Why do you read this comic from right to left?”, “What's the meaning of this and that, like form of address or traditions you can see in animes” With those questions you are going to find your answers. And then you will find so much more than just the anime and manga. Japan is a country with a lot of culture and tradition. On the same they have a strong growing industry with a lot of new technology. So in my eyes it is an interesting country with a lot of faces. You just have to look around the corner.
I just counted and noticed I made my 100th cosplay at the beginning of 2015. So by now it should be arount 110 costumes I made.
Hello everyone! I'm Christina, but everybody is calling me Chiko. I'm 29 years old since 21st of July and currently living in Hamburg.
I've started watching anime in 1995 and started cosplay in 2004. Since 2010 I'm more active in the fan scene in Germany. I'm a voluntary helper at Germany's biggest anime/manga community website “Animexx.de” and part of the organization team of “Animuc”, a convention in the south of Germany. Also I'm a regular participant at cosplay contests also since 2010.
Beside the cosplay I'm a huge “Pokémon” fan, love my cute cat named “Ranmao” and think I will never stop doing cosplay.
My favorite Manga and Anime are “Love Live” and “Psycho Pass”. At the moment I am also really into “One Punch Man”, “Haikyuu”, “Noragami” and “Owari no Seraph”.
I really love Japan and the Japanese culture. My daily lifestyle is influenced by Japan and thanks to this country I could make some great friends who are sharing the same passion as me. I am not only watching Japanese television daily, I also love to eat Japanese food and to experience the Japanese culture. I like to travel to Japan and to enjoy the modern and the traditional side of this country. You can say that Japan is my passion.
I am not sure how many Cosplays I have. Maybe around 150? I haven’t counted recently.
Hello! I am Shiroku, a Cosplayer living in the northern part of Germany. I am working as a J-Pop singer and love to cover well-known Anime songs or to sing with friends Karaoke. I love Japanese food and penguins. I like to collect stuffed penguins of all kind. I started Cosplaying 10 years ago and could make some great friendships thanks to this passion. I love to attend Japan related events in the whole world and to make new friendships. I am really looking forward to the World Cosplay Summit and to meet so many people with the same passion as me.
