Favorite Manga and Japanese Animation

My Favourite anime is Naruto and my favourite manga is Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic.

What's Japan to you?

It means a lot to me! The culture, people (especially artists) and landscapes make it an inspiring and amazing place. Even though I have never visited Japan, it feels like home and a place I belong!

How many costumes do you have?

Around 11 or 12, I've gotten rid of a load of old stuff from when I first started and altered clothes to make way for new costumes!

Self Introduction

I'm a passionate person who loves to experiment! Cosplay is something which has slowly grown into a passion for me, and I love to learn new techniques and improve on myself. I enjoy illustrating animals and i really admire traditional woodblock prints and ink work. I love cats and chocolate too!

Favorite Manga and Japanese Animation

Too many to name! I'm a huge fan of Studio Ghibli and Studio Chizu films, but also like romance or magical anime.

What's Japan to you?

Beauty, colour and a thriving culture with amazing food, traditions and costume. The etiquette and organisation of the Japanese people is also inspiring to my own life choices.

How many costumes do you have?

Currently about ten but I have made many more!

Self Introduction

Hello! My name is Rachel and I'm a cosplayer from the United Kingdom. I was born and raised in Scotland but now live in England, and I love Japanese culture, food, history and clothing. I am an illustrator by day, waitress by night and a cosplayer inbetween! My hobbies include playing piano, sewing and crafts, reading and baking.
